Ingot
Casting: Process Description
After it is refined, the molten steel is tapped into
refractory lined ladles. The steel is then teemed (poured)
into a series of ingot molds. Ingot shape and weight
are selected to meet the specific requirements of the
products to be made. After the ingots solidify, the
ingot molds are stripped and the ingots are placed in
reheating furnace to equalize the internal and external
temperature. Following the ingots are hot rolled in
rolling mill to produce final products desired.

At the ingot moulds preparation
works we have our own pattern shop the re-usable permanent
patterns are used to make the sand moulds. The castings
are produced from "cupolas" and we use dry
sand moulding process for production of casting.
